Nicola Garcia-Santos
Hi I’m Nicola but most people call me Nicki. I am the co-founder of Adentro VA and i am pleased that you are here reading my bio.
My career path has taken many twists and turns over the last 25 years. By far the most exciting and fullfilling was the creation of our business in 2017. As a former executive assistant and sales administrator I was acutely aware of the pressure to arrange meetings, to make sure that the right people were in the room, to make sure that the meeting ran to time, oh and of course the venue was outstanding. Working also within sales gave me the drive and energy to always deliver, get documents created quickly and accurately, posted, emailed, sent for print. The one resounding element that was always in short supply was time.
Our business has a very simple but robust model, to help relieve the pressure of not having enough time during the day to focus on what is urgent and important. But while we can handle the basics very well as you would expect, if your day is full of urgent and important items we are quick learners, so outsource what you are comfortable to handover, we will do those well too.
Myself and the team love seeing the results unfold as we take care of the business as usual for you, leaving you to do what is best for growing your business.
Julian Garcia-Santos
Hi I’m Julian and I’m also glad that you have scrolled down to here for a read, below is my bio.
I am formally the Global Head of Electronic Trading Services at Société Générale, a market leading investment bank that operates across multiple asset classes in the financial sector. I held this position from 2014 to 2017 during the most active of times with the merger of Newedge into the SG world.
At Newedge I joined in September 2011 as the Product Specialist for one of the biggest Fidessa hosted installations ever undertaken, circa €45m over 5 years. This platform rationalised several other platforms transforming the landscape of the Newedge trading operation in Derivatives. By 2013 I was running the program of work and delivering complex solutions as part of a joint task force between Newedge and Fidessa resulting in the award of Best Trading Platform: Banking Technology Awards 2013.
I am no stranger to Fidessa, I held the EMEA Product Marketing role from 2006 to 2011 for their hosted offering. In this role I managed marketing campaigns, attended trade shows, managed the pre-sales marketing to clients and contributed at the highest level into the hosted strategy.
Before joining Fidessa I worked at ICAP for a total period of 18 years in various different roles across multiple functions and asset classes. The latter part was spent in technology delivering solutions to the front office but my initial landing into the industry was as a broker. Between 1987 and 1997 I was a Broker with Garban, this was post ‘Big Bang’ and a very exciting time in the industry, for the 2 years prior to that I was a private client broker on the old London Stock Exchange floor. I began this journey on November 19th 1985.
The variety of work we get is so broad that even my skills are used and in some cases really stretched. Most of the time I’m used by the team as a bit of an encyclopedia for all things technical whether that be getting things working or figuring out how to solve an issue for a client. Either way keeping our clients happy and providing solutions to new prospects is very rewarding.
Sara Hildreth
Sara is a new addition to the team and what a fantastic resource she is. Mum to two lovely children and wife to Jerry, Sara is a very driven person and has rock solid work ethics. We are so very pleased to have her as part of our team working with some of our amazing clients. She brings a wealth of knowledge from her early days working for the Tomy Group in various roles, prior to having her children. Since then apart from running a very busy household over the past 18 years she has been running her own successful domestic cleaning business.
Again Sara is a great asset to the team and we are very pleased to have her on board.
